Visualisation of suggested ideas, materials, appliances and accessories can be more challenging for your self with a home visit consultation. We would always recommend a showroom visit shortly after. After your consultation we will have enough information to undertake an initial estimate which will be presented to you within 2 – 4 weeks.

Should you proceed with us at any stage, your designing fee’s that are previously paid are taken off your deposit total.
Bespoke Kitchen Design Process
Our best design packages take around 4 hours to produce therefore we have created the following options to ensure efficient use of our designers.
Package 1
Design consultation at our showroom or your home is undertaken in which we discuss your cabinetry design, requirements, layout, storage needs, appliance wish – lists and worktop options. A full PDF document is presented to you at our showroom giving you the proposed design and an initial costing based on conversations. – This is charged at £300 + Vat.
Package 2
Design consultation at our showroom or your home is undertaken in which we discuss your cabinetry design, requirements, layout, storage needs, appliance wish – lists and worktop options. A site survey is also completed to discuss your requirements for the build / renovation works, This is a non intrusive structural service. A full PDF document is presented to you at our showroom giving you the proposed design and an initial costing based on conversations. – This is charged at £600 + Vat.
Our preferred method of consultation is to invite you to the showroom. Being at the showroom enables us to show physical examples of finishes, styles and fittings. Based on feedback from many clients. Being able to come to the showroom, have a coffee and pastry, and chat through ideas left them with a greater understanding of the design possibilities for their project, left them more confident in our ability to produce what is required and gave them a greater understanding of our customer service. We can then outline our packages to see what suits you best to move forward.
“A great kitchen design marries functionality with beauty, creating a space where culinary creativity and cherished family memories thrive. We love watching peoples dreams become reality”
What We Need
To begin a project at Eridge Green Kitchens, it’s important for us to grasp the details of your project, your motivations for starting it, and any relevant information about our services that could help. We typically kick things off with a coffee meeting in our showroom. This gives you a chance to learn more about us, what we do, and why we prefer this approach. We encourage you to bring along any plans, ideas you’ve come across, or inspiration images. This will help us understand the style you’re envisioning, give us insight into your preferences, and allow us to expand on your ideas. From there, we can guide you in the right direction, explain our design packages, and set the stage for your design journey to begin.
Existing Structure
- Photos of the room
- 2d measures of the room – see our room measuring advice sheet
- Any inspiration pictures and ideas you may have
These can all be emailed to us in advance of our meeting. If they are these can be pre-loaded onto our design software for us to create your room you to visualise upon your visit.
New Build/Extension
- Plans of the new structure sent to us in an unlocked DWG format (your architect will have these)
- The same plans as a pdf are also helpful for us to brainstorm, annotate and sketch on during your visit
- Any inspiration pictures and ideas you may have
During a design consultation we would aim to gather an understanding of the layout required, types of storage preferred, appliances and accessories requirements, and the styling of your new cabinetry. You will have a deeper understanding of what we can offer you, how we work and our customer service.
After your consultation we will have enough information to undertake an initial estimate which will be presented to you in 2 to 4 weeks.
Kitchen Design Service FAQ’s
What’s the first step in the design process?
it all begins with a coffee and a friendly chat in the showroom. We can talk about your ideas, room plans, and any inspirations you have while giving you a tour of the showroom. This way, you can get to know our company and our cabinetry better. From there, we offer two design packages to help you move forward.
What follows once a design package is selected?
After selecting a package, we’re here to help turn your kitchen or house dreams into reality. We’ll create a design PDF for you, which we’ll showcase in our showroom, and together we’ll discuss the next steps to bring your vision to life.
How much time does the initial phase take before we can schedule with you?
The timeframe can range from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the current lead times. Once we have that sorted out, we can proceed and discuss the schedule for starting the project.
Will you assist us with interior choices, colors, and more?
Absolutely! We have a talented in-house design team and collaborate with various interior designers who can help you with your project as well. All of this can be discussed during design meetings at our showroom.

We’re here to help you with everything! We collaborate with various brand suppliers to customize your appliances to perfectly match your unique kitchen. We can guide you through the different specifications, models, and colors that are available.
Can you explain how the design process unfolds?
Each project is customized based on the specific needs of our clients. We can adapt the design process to fit your requirements and ensure it works well for everyone involved. This is something we arrange with the client during our initial meetings.
How do we determine our budget?
You can find a helpful guide on our website in the kitchens section, which categorizes projects into small, medium, and large to assist you in understanding your current situation. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us.
