This kitchen is bright, elegant, and traditional, designed for a country home originally built in the Tudor period. The brief was to create a warm and welcoming heart of the home while respecting the property’s historic character.
Designed around the original chimney
We designed the kitchen around the original chimney, which runs through the centre of the house, and carefully incorporated other period features to complement the architecture.

We designed the kitchen around the original chimney, which runs through the centre of the house, and carefully incorporated other period features to complement the architecture. The result is a timeless space that feels both authentic to the home and perfectly suited to modern family living.
The cabinetry was hand-painted in Mylands Early Lavender, creating a soft, refined palette that complements the home’s period character. The worktops are 30mm quartz, providing both durability and timeless elegance.
Premium appliances were carefully selected throughout, including a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Gaggenau appliances, a Shaws of Darwen sink, and a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher. Armac Martin handles and accessories were chosen to complete the design, adding a touch of craftsmanship and understated luxury.
